How to Play Wii Games on an SD Card

The Nintendo Wii video game console has a very limited amount of internal storage space. To remedy this problem, Nintendo allows gamers to use SD cards to store games and other game-related data. Playing Wii games on a SD card is a great way to conserve storage space on the Wii while still enjoying the Wii's popular games.

Instructions

      Insert the SD card with the game you want to play into the SD slot on the front of the Nintendo Wii. The card is fully inserted once it clicks into place.

      Click the SD Menu option in the lower left corner of the main Wii menu.

      Highlight the game you want to play from the SD card and press the "A" button on the Wii controller.

      Press the "Start" button to load the game from the SD card. The game can be played immediately.
