How to Unlock Cars in Mario Cart Wii

"Mario Kart Wii" has several unlockable karts and bikes available, in addition to its 18 regular ones. To unlock each new vehicle, a certain achievement must be met. Each additional kart and bike has speed, turning and boost attributes that can be very different from the original carts.

Unlockable Bikes

  Win first place in the 100cc Lightning Cup to unlock the Zip Zip.

  Win first place in the 100cc Star Cup to unlock the Shooting Star.

  Win first place in the 150cc Star Cup to unlock the Quacker.
- 4
  Win first place in the Mirror Leaf Cup to unlock the Bubble Bike.

  Win first place in the Mirror Star Cup to unlock the Dolphin Dasher.

  Win first place in the Mirror Special Cup to unlock the Phantom.
- 7
  Receive one star in all Wii 100cc Cups (in single-player mode)--to unlock the Sneakster.

  Complete 8 Time Trials races to unlock the Magikruiser.

  Unlock 12 expert Staff Ghosts in Time Trials mode to unlock the Spear.

  Win first place in the 50cc Special Cup to unlock the Piranha Prowler.

  Win first place in the 50cc Leaf Cup to unlock the Turbo Blooper.

  Win first place in the 150cc Lightning Cup to unlock the Honeycoupe.

  Win first place in the 150cc Leaf Cup to unlock the Royal Racer.

  Receive one star in all of the 150cc Retro Cups to unlock the Aero Glider.

  Receive one star in all of the 50cc Retro Grand Prix Cups to unlock the Cheep Charger.

  Unlock 24 expert Staff Ghosts in Time Trials mode to unlock the Sprinter.

  Unlock one expert Staff Ghost in Time Trials mode, or beat 50 opponents over Wi-Fi play, in order to unlock the Tiny Titan.
