How to Connect Wii Guitar to Computer

Play "Guitar Hero III" on the PC for better graphics and sound quality than you get with platform versions. You will need a Nintendo Wii "Guitar Hero III" Les Paul Controller and a Nintendo Wii Remote Game Pad. Just attach the Nintendo Wii Remote into the Les Paul Controller to hook it to a computer. You will need to install "Guitar Hero III" on your computer's hard drive in order to use the Wii Guitar.

Check whether your computer has a Bluetooth adapter and drivers installed. Purchase a Bluetooth adapter from an electronics store or reputable online business (see Resources) if your computer does not already have one. Plug the Bluetooth adapter into an empty USB port on your computer. Insert the disc that came with your Bluetooth adapter and follow the instructions to properly install the adapter to your computer.

Open the Bluetooth device manager and select "Add a Bluetooth Device." Choose to search for a device. Hold down the "1" and "2" buttons on your Wii remote until the adapter recognizes your controller. Select "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01" and connect to the Bluetooth adapter with this.

Download the GlovePIE application (see Resources). Download the Guitar Hero III GlovePIE script so your Les Paul Controller can function with your PC. Customize the script to any specific modifications you want your Les Paul controller to have. Click "Run" to finalize installation of your script. Open "Controller setup" and set up the controls to fit your preferences. Test your controller to make sure it is functioning properly.
