Things You'll Need
Instructions
Choose a game. The Wii has hundreds of titles, many of which lend themselves to tournament play. Wii Sports Resort contains a dozen games alone, with several of them suitable for a tournament featuring any number of players. Choose a title that will be easy for everyone to play, since some games require extra exertion that may not be as popular among people with injuries or recurring ailments.
Contact potential tournament participants. Ideally, you should contact only the number of people you feel comfortable having in your residence at one time. Keep in mind that participants will need sufficient free space to move around during the tournament, further restricting the amount of space available.
Clear a space in front of the television, if you haven't done so already. With some games utilizing as many as four people at one time, the area can get rather crowded. Shift all coffee tables or related furniture items to the side until you've cleared enough space for the tournament participants.
Decide on a tournament structure. Will it be head to head? Teams of two? Every man, woman and child for themselves? Feel free to mix it up from game to game to give participants as many different options as possible.
