Instructions
Connect the single connection end of the "AV Multi cable" into the "video output" port on the rear of the Wii. This cable comes standard with the Wii system.
Look on the back (or front on some models) of your TV for a grouping of three inputs labeled as "video in." One input is yellow (video) and the other two are red and white (audio channels).
Connect the ends of the Wii video cable into the matching colored input on the TV. Make sure they are securely connected. If your TV lacks the standard "red, white, yellow" RCA video input, note that some models may have "red, white, and blue (video)." In this case the yellow jack connects to the blue jack. If you still do not see this connection, proceed to Step 4.
Connect the "red, white, yellow" ends of the Wii video cable to the associated jacks on the RCA adapter. For example, if your TV has a coaxial cable input you'll want to use an RCA to cable adapter. If your TV has an HDMI port you'll want to use an RCA to HDMI port. You can determine your TV's specific video input type by looking for the input name near the actual port or in the TV's user manual.
Plug the Wii's power supply into a wall outlet or power strip and turn both the Wii and TV on. Wait a few seconds and press the "Source" or "Input" button on the TV or remote until you see the Wii's video on the screen.
