How to Find Your Wii Number

  Turn your Wii on. Select the "Wii Message Board" option in your Wii&'s main menu. This option will be located in the lower-right corner of the main menu.

  Select the "Address Book" option.

  Select (with the "A" button) the left arrow icon on your address book until you scroll to the cover. You will see your Wii number on the cover of the book.

  Write your Wii number on a sheet of paper and store it in a place that it can be easily accessed.

Adding Existing Friends On The Wii

  Exchange Wii numbers with your friend.

  Turn on your Wii. Select the "Wii Message Board" option in your Wii&'s main menu.

  Select the "Address Book" option in the Wii message board menu.

  Select the "Register" option in your address book. Select the "Wii" option in the next window that appears.

  Enter your friend&'s Wii number into the next prompt and press the "OK" button to register your Wii friend. Once your friend does the same with your number, you will be able to use your Wiis to communicate.

Playing With Friends On The Wii

  Insert the Wii multi-player game of your choice into the console. Choosing the game&'s icon from your Wii&'s main menu. You can also download any multi-player Wiiware from the Wii store and select the icon for your Wiiware in the main menu as well.

  Select the "Multi-player" option from the programs&' main menu.

  Select the friends you would like to play with in the multi-player menu. The Wii game will read your address book and bring up a list of all the friends that are currently available to play the game. Select any available friends to begin playing with them.
