Connect to the Wi-Fi Network
Click the “Wii” button located in the bottom left-hand corner of the Wii main menu to open the System menu.
Select “Wii Settings” on the System menu.
Click the right arrow to see more setting selections and choose “Internet.”
Select “Connect Settings,” click an open “Connections” slot, then choose the “Wireless Connection” option.
Click the “Search for Access Point” button to allow your Wii to scan for your Wi-Fi connection.

Select “Wii System Update” from the system options menu.
Choose “Yes” when you are prompted to confirm that you want to update your Wii firmware.
Allow your Wii to download and install the newest update. This may take some time. Once this is complete, you will see a new “SD card” option on your Wii’s main menu, allowing you to access information on your SD cards.
