How to Get WiiWare

WiiWare is a shopping channel from Nintendo. The channel offers downloads of games that you pay for with Wii Points, as well as free demos. Your Nintendo Wii already comes with WiiWare on the system, and you can download anything from WiiWare, so long as you have the right amount of points and a working Internet connection through the Wii console. Games tend to range from 800 to 1,000 points in the WiiWare shop.

     Boot up the Wii system and turn on one Wii Remote.

     Select “Wii Shop Channel” from the home screen.

     Add your Wii Points by clicking the “Add Wii Points” button.

     Choose “WiiWare” after you’ve added your points.

     Browse the games. You can search by a specific title, genre or publisher, or view the newest additions or most popular titles.

     Download a game. You will see the Wii Points are automatically deducted.
