How to Connect a Wii to the Internet Via a USB

Out of the box, the Nintendo Wii video game console is Wi-Fi ready. While you can use a wired connection via USB cable to connect your Wii to the Internet, the Wii LAN Adapter, sold separately, is required. The Wii LAN Adapter connects to the USB port on your Wii and enables you to a use an Ethernet-based connection to allow you to access the Internet through your Wii. There is no additional fee associated with the use of the Wii LAN Adapter.
