TV
Connect the AC adapter into the "DC 12V In" port on the back of the Nintendo Wii. Plug the other end into an available wall outlet.
Connect the AV Multi Out (the square shaped connector on the opposite side of the colored RCA cables) into the AV port on the back of the Nintendo Wii.
Insert the RCA cables into the corresponding inputs on your TV (e.g. red prong into red port and yellow prong into yellow port).
Turn the Wii on. Turn the TV on. Set the TV to its "Video" mode (it might also be titled "Input" or something similar). You will know when you&'re on the right mode when you see the Wii Channel Menu on the screen.
VCR or DVD
Connect the AC adapter into the "DC 12V In" port on the back of the Nintendo Wii. Plug the other end into an available wall outlet.
Connect the AV Multi Out (the square shaped connector on the opposite side of the colored RCA cables) into the AV port on the back of the Nintendo Wii.
Insert the RCA cables into the corresponding inputs on your VCR/DVD player (e.g. red prong into red port and yellow prong into yellow port).
Turn the Wii on. Turn the TV on. Set the TV to its "Video" mode (it might also be titled "Input" or something similar). Turn the VCR/DVD player on. Set the VCR/DVD player to its "Input" mode (it might also be titled "AV Mode"). Some VCRs require you to insert the tape and stop it before you can select the proper input mode.
