How to Copy Games From a PC to Wii

The Nintendo Wii was a groundbreaking home video game console. Like many other consoles, the Wii plays games on DVDs. Copying your backed-up Wii games from your computer back onto your Wii is very simple with Nintendo&'s use of the SD card. With SD cards reaching over 32 GB in size and the average Wii game rarely reaching 4 GB in size, you can pack quite a few onto one SD card.

Instructions

      Remove your SD card from your Nintendo Wii console and insert the SD card into your computer&'s card reader.

      Locate your Wii game that is on your computer and right-click it. Click "Copy" and go to your SD card on your computer.

      Right-click the "WAD" folder on the SD card and click "Paste" to copy the game to Wii SD card. Eject the SD card when the transfer completes.

      Reinsert your SD card into your Wii and turn the Wii on. Your game will now be installed on the Wii menu.
