Instructions
Place the Wii either horizontally or vertically. Attach the Wii stand plate onto the bottom of the Wii stand. To position the console vertically, place the Wii into the raised part of the stand, with the GameCube port door facing up. To place the Wii horizontally, lay the console flat in an open space with the disc drive facing up.
Connect the small, black end of the power cord into the back the of the Wii and the pronged end into a wall outlet, surge protector or extension cord.
Unwind the sensor bar cord and plug the red connector into the red connection slot of the Wii. Place the bar either on top of the TV or below the TV, whichever is easier to access with the Wiimote. Align the center of the sensor bar with the center of the TV.
Connect the small, black end of the AV connector into the back of the Wii. Connect the three color-coded connectors into the color-coded inputs on your TV.
Turn your TV on and press the "Power" button to start the Wii.
Insert two AA batteries into the Wiimote. The blue LED lights on the Wiimote will flash. Open the front panel door of the Wii and press the red "Sync" button, then press the red "Sync" button on the bottom of your Wiimote. The LED lights on the Wiimote will stop flashing when the Wiimote is properly synced.
Highlight the "Wii" button on the main Wii menu with your Wiimote and press "A." Select "Wii Settings."
Change each Wii setting to your preference, including console language, parental controls, sensor bar and screen position. Press "A" to select each preference. Highlight the options on each preference screen and press "A" to change the option. Press "-" to go back to the previous screen.
