Lures
Many of the lures featured in "Rapala: Tournament Fishing" are not available at the beginning of the game and must be unlocked throughout the missions. Players are given quizzes in "Tournament Fishing." Getting answers correct can lead to capturing new lures. Players who get 10 answers in a quiz unlock the Glass Shad Rap Lure. Answering 20 questions correctly unlocks the DT Flat Sure Set Series Lure. To unlock the X-Rap Jointed Shad Lure, players have to correctly answer 30 quiz questions. The Lauri Rapala 100th Anniversary Lure is unlocked once players get 40 of the quiz questions correct.
Videos
A special quiz can be found in "Rapala: Tournament Fishing" by traveling to the Extras area from the game's Main Menu. Once in Extras, players can select Quiz and try their hand at questions related to the game. The more questions that a player answers correctly, the more special fishing videos will be unlocked. To unlock Video One, players must answer five of the special quiz questions correctly. Answering 15 special quiz questions correctly unlocks Video Two, while Video Three appears once 25 of the quiz questions are successfully answered. Players get Video Four as soon as they answer 35 quiz questions right, and Video Five can only be unlocked by correctly answering all of the questions in the special quiz.
Lure Abilities
To succeed while fishing in "Rapala" Tournament Fishing," players must be familiar with the strengths of the different lures and lure materials in the game. The Shad Rap lure is best used for freshwater fishing, while the DT Flat Series Lure is preferable for fishing in rocky regions. The DTG Rapala Lure goes down up to 6 feet, while the Size Seven Shad Lure goes down in the water up to 9 feet. To get the highest amount of depth, use the Size Eleven Deep Tail Dancer Lure, a product that goes down in the water up to 30 feet.
