How to Find the Password for Internet on Wii

After you establish an Internet connection on your Nintendo Wii, you can then download exclusive video game online from the Nintendo Store and play online multiplayer games. In order to set up wireless Internet with your Wii you must know the security password for your wireless router. If you need to change the password for your network on your Wii then you can find the password from your online Wii settings.

  Turn on your Nintendo Wii and then press the "A" button on your Wii remote to open the main menu screen.

  Use your Wii remote to point the cursor at the round Wii icon located on the bottom left side of the screen. Press the "A" button.

  Select the "Wii Settings" option, which has a picture of a wrench on it. Click on the "Internet" option.

  Click on the "Connection Settings" option and then select the connection that your Wii is set up with. Click on the "Wireless Connection" option.

  Click on the "WEP," "WPA" or "WPA2" option depending on the type of security password you set up on your router.

  Click in the text box where the password is and you will be able to view the password for your wireless Internet. Click on the "Save" button to save any changes you made.
