Using your computer, download the downgrading tools from the resource section of this guide. When the download completes, right-click the downloaded file and click "Extract All." The downgrading tools will be extracted from the archive into a folder in the same directory as the original file.
Open the folder that is created and you will see an "Apps" and "Wads" file. Right-click the "Apps" file and click "Extract All." This will extract the necessary applications for the downgrade. Repeat this for the "Wads" file. Open the apps folder that was created from the extraction and select all of the apps inside. Right-click one of the files and click "Copy."
Insert your SD card into your computer's card reader and a window will appear. Click "View files/folders" to open the Wii SD card. Right-click the "Apps" folder on the SD card and click "Paste" to transfer the apps to the SD card. Repeat this for the wads files, placing them into the "Wads" folder.
Eject the SD card from your computer and insert it into the Wii card reader. Start your Wii homebrew channel and select "WAD Manager." Select "IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad" from the menu that appears. Return to the homebrew channel after the install completes.
Select "Custom WM" from the homebrew channel. Select "cios_fix.wad" to install it. Return to the homebrew channel again and select "cIOS Downgrader." Select version 3.2 for your region from the menu that appears. Your region is where you live. Wait as your Wii is downgraded.
