How Do I Copy My Nintendo Wii Games & Use Them?

The Nintendo Wii can be modified so that its operating system will play games contained on a memory card. You can copy your legally owned games and convert them to a format that the memory card can accept and the Wii can read. You will need to use a computer and free Wii programs created by Wii gaming enthusiasts. You will also need a Nintendo GameCube gamepad controller and a few other accessories from a game store or electronics shop. Copying the Wii game will let you put the original away for safekeeping.

Things You'll Need

  • Wii game disc
  • Memory card reader
  • 2GB SD card
  • GameCube Controller
  • GameCube SD card adapter
  • Blank recordable DVD
