Check your 2Wire router to make sure it is connected to a power supply and to your computer. The 2Wire router must be powered on to connect with your Wii.
Turn over the router and write down the 10-digit number located inside a set of brackets. This is your 2Wire router's WEP key. Write down the last three digits of the router's serial number as well.
Power on your Nintendo Wii and highlight the ̶0;Wii̶1; icon on the bottom left of the main menu with your Wii Remote. Press ̶0;A.̶1;
Highlight ̶0;Wii Settings̶1; and press ̶0;A.̶1; Move to the second page of the screen and highlight ̶0;Internet̶1; then press ̶0;A.̶1; Choose ̶0;Connection Settings.̶1;
Select any of the three connections that have the word ̶0;None̶1; listed on the right side. Choose ̶0;Wireless Connection̶1; and ̶0;Search for an Access Point.̶1;
Scroll through the list of access points and choose the point labeled ̶0;2WireXXX̶1; where the three X's are the same three numbers you wrote down from the end of the router's serial number.
Highlight the text box under the WEP heading and press ̶0;A.̶1; Use your Wii Remote to highlight and enter the numbers in your WEP key. Select ̶0;OK̶1; when finished. Confirm the saving of your settings.
Press ̶0;A̶1; to start a connection test. After the test, highlight ̶0;Use this connection̶1; and press ̶0;A̶1; to return to the Wii's main menu. The console is now connected through the 2Wire router.
