The Nintendo Wii includes 512 MB of internal memory that can be used to store game data, downloaded content and photos. The Wii System Menu allows you to manage all of the saved data on the Wii, including any SD card that may be in the system. The Wii makes it easy to delete all of the information stored on the console. After the process is complete, it will return to its factory settings.

Turn on the Nintendo Wii. After the Wii Channel Menu loads, select the "Wii" icon at the bottom left of the Wii Channel Menu.

Select the left direction arrow until you stop on the Wii System Settings 3 menu.

Select "Format Wii System Memory." When asked to confirm, select "Yes."
