Things You'll Need
Instructions
Locate the audio and video input connectors on your TV. These may be located on the front, side or back of the TV (depending on which television you own). The connectors will be labeled as "IN" or "Input." A "Video" and "Audio" heading may also appear on the TV. The connectors will also likely be three different colors.
Connect the AV Multi Out plug that's included with the Wii into the AV Multi Out connector that's located on the back of the Nintendo Wii.
Plug the three RCA plugs on the opposite end of the Wii AV Multi Out plug into the three input connectors on the TV. If the connectors on the TV are colored, than simply match the colors of the RCA plugs with the colors of the connectors on the TV. If the TV connectors aren't colored, plug the yellow RCA plug into the "Video" connector on your TV, the white RCA plug into the "Audio Input Left" or "Mono" connector (depending on your TV) and the red RCA plug into the "Audio Input Right" connector.
Find the "Input Select" channel on your TV. You may be able to locate this channel by pressing a "TV/Video" or "AV" button on your TV remote. The "Input Select" channel may also be an "AV" or "Aux" channel. For some TVs, the "Input Select" channel is a numeric channel, such as "00" or "99."
Connect the Nintendo Wii power cord to the device. Then, plug the other end into an electrical outlet. Once you've done this, turn the TV and Nintendo Wii on. The Wii welcome screen should appear on the "Input Select" channel on your TV.
