How to Get a Perfect Game in Wii Bowling

The Wii platform has introduced an entire new way of playing video games to the video game consumer. Now not only do gamers have to be proficient at timing the mashing of various buttons in sequence, but they have to mash those buttons while performing physical actions similar to the ones their on-screen counterparts are attempting. With Wii bowling, video gamers have the chance to attempt a perfect game, something that few people have ever achieved in real life, while expending a fraction of the time, effort and money:

Familiarize yourself with the basics of Wii bowling. You must hold the remote facing up, with the end facing the television. Hold down the trigger and walk through the motion of bowling. The Mii on the screen should show you the steps, which begin with the remote in front of you, then lowering the remote and swinging it behind you, then swinging it in front of you and lifting it a little higher than it was before.

Try to throw the ball in between the front pin and the pin next to it. If you are right handed, it may be easier to aim for the right side of the front pin, and left handed bowlers for the left side of the front pin. Practice moving your character to the right and left before throwing the ball.

Learn to put spin on the ball. Spinning the ball is one of the critical skills necessary to throw a perfect game of twelve strikes totaling 300 points. To spin the ball, rotate your hand clockwise or counterclockwise as you finish your throw, during the "follow-through" section of your throwing motion.

Practice to gain extra power and skill with spinning the ball. The best way to throw a perfect game is by using powerful throws and lots of spin. Do not release the ball until it is quite a bit above your normal position, which will allow it to float through the air for some distance before it lands, with extra speed, spin and power.
