How to Use 2 Guitars on Wii Rock Band at the Same Time

"Rock Band" allows up to four people to form a virtual band using two guitars (one for bass), drums and a microphone. The process for setting up "Rock Band" on the Wii is a little different from that for other consoles. You must sync each guitar one at a time. Once both guitars are synced, players can use them in the game modes that support two or more players.

Instructions

    • 1

Attach the white dongle that comes with "Rock Band" into one of the USB ports on the back of the Nintendo Wii.

    • 2

Hold down the guitar icon on the dongle until the light starts flashing.

    • 3

Hold down the "Sync" button on the guitar. The "Sync" button is located under the whammy bar. When both lights stabilize, that will indicate the sync process has completed. Repeat these steps to sync the second guitar.

    • 4

Use the buttons and strum on the guitar to navigate the "Rock Band" menu. When prompted, activate the second guitar (or bass) in the multiplayer mode of your choice.
