How to Collect Wii Points

Via Credit Card

  Turn on your Wii and select the "Wii Shop" channel from the main channel menu. If you have not accessed the shop before, read the User Agreement, click "I Agree," then "OK."

  Select "Start Shopping" then "Add Wii Points."

  Choose "Buy Wii Points with a Credit Card" and select the amount of Wii Points you would like to purchase.

  Use your WiiMote to enter the details of the card you will using to buy Wii Points: the card type, number, expiration date and three-digit security code, then click "OK."

  Enter the full billing address for the card, including street, county, city, state and ZIP code. Do not use any punctuation: for example, "St. Andrews St." would be written "St Andrews St" for the purposes of this menu.

  Confirm that your details are correct on the next screen then click "Yes." You will receive a message that your Wii Points have been added to your account.

Via Nintendo Points Card

  Purchase a Nintendo Points Card from an online retailer such as Amazon.com or a store like GameStop or EBGames.

  Access the Wii Shop channel from the main menu of your Nintendo Wii. If this is your first time on the shop channel, read the User Agreement and click "OK" then "Start Shopping."

  Click "Add Wii Points" then "Redeem Nintendo Points Card."

  Turn over the card and scratch off the silver panel to reveal a numerical code. Enter this code into the space onscreen using your WiiMote.

  Select "OK" and then "Redeem" to activate your points.
