How to Transfer Wii Points to a Wii to Use on the Wii Shop Channel

Purchasing Nintendo Points

  Move your Wii Remote's cursor over the Wii Shop Channel icon and select it using the "A" button.

  Read the "User Agreement" and select "I Agree" and then "Okay" if this is your first time using the Wii Shop Channel.

  Select the "Start Shopping" option.

  Select the "Add Wii Points" option and choose the "Buy Wii Points with a Credit Card" option.

  Choose how many Nintendo/Wii Points you would like to purchase.

  Enter your Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card information. You will be prompted to include type of card, card number, expiration date and the three-digit security code.

  Select "OK" and enter your mailing address, including city, state, zip code and county. Select "Okay" again.

  Look over the details of the transaction and select "Yes" if satisfied. The Nintendo/Wii Points will automatically be transferred to your Wii Shop account, and you will be billed for the transaction.

  Select the "Start Shopping" option.

  Select the "Add Wii Points" option and choose the "Redeem Nintendo Points Card" option.

  Reveal the Nintendo Points card's activation number by scratching off the silver security lining found on the back of the card. Enter this activation number in the space provided on the screen.

  Select "OK" when finished entering the activation number.

  Select the "Redeem" option. The value of Nintendo/Wii Points on the card will be transferred to your Wii Shop account, and a screen will display that the transaction is complete.
