How to Unlock Mii Character in Mario Kart Racing Wii

Released in April 2008, Mario Kart Wii brought the Mario Kart franchise onto Nintendo̵7;s Wii console. Players familiar with versions of the game for other consoles will find some familiar tracks in the game, as sixteen of the races occur on tracks from previous games. However, Mario Kart Wii combines these nostalgic races with sixteen new race tracks, providing new entertainment as players race and battle their way to victory. Completing races and performing certain accomplishments in the game unlock new characters, races, and karts. One of the more challenging characters to unlock is the Mii that players create on the Wii console. The Mii is unlockable wearing two different outfits--each requiring a different accomplishment.

Instructions

Unlock Mii Character Outfit A

  Select a 100cc Grand Prix race in the game menu.

  Win third place or better in the 100cc Mushroom Cup and the 100cc Flower Cup to unlock the 100cc Star Cup.

  Win third place or better in the 100cc Star Cup to unlock the 100cc Special Cup.

  Win the 100cc Special Cup in first place to unlock the Mii character in Outfit A. This Mii can now be selected in the character menu at the beginning of the game.
Unlock Mii Character Outfit B

  Choose time trial mode in the game menu.
- 6
  Beat the ghost in each race by several seconds to unlock the fast ghost for that race.
- 7
  Beat the fast ghost for all 32 races to unlock the Mii character in Outfit B. This Mii can now be selected in the character menu at the beginning of the game.
