How to Customize Miis

The Nintendo Wii is a video game console that allows users to create digital avatars known as "Miis." Miis are used in different ways by different Wii games; for certain games such as Wii Sports, the player is able to play as their Mii. If you are not happy with the appearance of our Mii or your Mii settings, you may wish to customize your Mii. Miis can be edited using the Mii Channel on the Wii's main system screen.

Things You'll Need

Nintendo Wii console
Wii remote
Miis

Instructions

  Turn on your Wii, wait for the main menu to load and then point to the Mii Channel with your Wii remote, press the "A" button to select it and then select "Start."

  Point to and then select the "Edit Mii" option.

  Point to the Mii you want to edit, hold down the A and B buttons to pick up the Mii, and then drag the Mii to the "Edit Mii" button and release the A and B buttons to drop the Mii into the edit tool.

  Point to and select the icons along the top of the Mii editor and then choose from among the characteristics within each menu to customize the features of your Mii.

  Select "Quit" when you are finished customizing your Mii, and then choose "Save and quit" to save the changes you made.
