How to Connect to Another City on SIM City Creator

Sim City Creator is the Nintendo console version of Sim City, a long-time personal computer game. Sim City Creator is available both for the Nintendo Wii and the DS, although game play is very different on the two platforms. The Wii version of the game works a lot like the PC version with a few exceptions. Just like the PC version of Sim City, Sim City Creator for the Wii allows you to connect to neighboring cities.

Instructions

    • 1

Zone commercial, residential, and industrial areas in your city. If you already have a city which is pretty much zoned but not connected to any other city, then skip this step.

    • 2

Build a road which is connected to your city and drag it all the way out to one of the edges of your map. Sim City Creator will ask you if you want to connect to whatever city is on that side of the map. Select ̶0;Yes̶1; and the game will automatically build a road that is connected to the adjacent city.

    • 3

Do the same with power towers and water pipes as you did with the road and you̵7;ll be connected to the city via roads, water pipes and your electric grid. Do the same with railways and other types of transportation and you̵7;ll be connected to the city via multiple forms of transportation. Connecting to other cities will allow your city to make commercial deals with that other city.
