How to Connect Two Controllers for Wii Brawl

"Super Smash Brothers Brawl" is a four player fighting game for the Nintendo Wii. The Wii Remote, Wii Remote + Nunchuck combo, Classic Controller and GameCube controller are the four controllers supported by "Brawl." Each of these controllers must be connected to the Wii in different ways. Once connected, they all function the same in the "Brawl" video game.

Instructions

Wii Remote + Nunchuck/Classic Controller

  Turn on the Nintendo Wii. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote. Locate the "Sync" button under the battery compartment.

  Open the SD card slot cover on the front of the Nintendo Wii. Press the red "Sync" button. The syncing indicator light on the Wii will begin flashing.

  Press the "Sync" button on the Wii Remote. The syncing indicator light on the Wii Remote will flash temporarily. Once the light has stabilized, the Wii Remote has been synced successfully.

  Connect the Nunchuck or Classic Controller add-on into the expansion slot under the Wii Remote (if applicable).
GameCube Controller

  Open the GameCube controller cover on the left side of the Nintendo Wii.

  Connect up to four controllers in any of GameCube controller slots.

  Use the GameCube controller to navigate the Wii Menu and in the "Super Smash Brothers Brawl" game.

Nintendo Wii
