Cosmic Family
For ages 3 and up, "Cosmic Family" is a learning adventure where children interact with a family on a ship rocketing through space. Children can play over 20 learning mini-games that focus on colors, shapes, logic and memory. By swinging the Wii remote and pointing and clicking, your child can unlock over 300 interactive animations and songs. If your child gets stuck in the game, they can click on Stephen the spotted elephant to receive hints. "Cosmic Family" contains three difficulty levels ensuring that the game will continue to challenge your children as they get older.
Jump Start Pet Rescue
The Jump Start series is a popular educational software series for the Mac and PC. The developers took their software expertise and expanded it to the Wii with "Jump Start Pet Rescue." Designed for pre-schoolers, children point and click with the Wii Remote to navigate through five stories looking for lost pets. Each story contains more than 50 learning adventures and 20 activities to develop pre-reading, logic, memory and listening skills. Young players will also enjoy taking care of the pets they recuse by naming, feeding and bathing the pets.
Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom
If your 4-year-old is a fan of Dora the Explorer, try the "Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom" game for the Wii. Dora and Boots help restore color to the Crystal Kingdom by discovering, with the Wii Remote, colored crystals hidden in Dragon Land, Butterfly Cave, and Cloud Castle. If your child is stuck, you can grab another remote and join the game using the game's helper function.
Go Diego Go: Great Dinosaur Rescue
For active 4-year-olds who like dinosaurs, "Go Diego Go: Great Dinosaur Rescue" uses the Wii Remote in 12 different ways to mimic stomping like a dinosaur, climbing in the jungle, flying on a dinosaur, jumping on a pogo stick and riding on a skateboard. While using the Wii Remote to move around, your child will travel back in time to help Maia the Maissaura find her way back to her family on Egg Island.
