The Wii's graphic capabilities are less than the Blu-Ray capable PS3 and high definition of XBox 360. This is a con for people who are looking for the best graphics possible for their video games. For the kinds of games that Wii offers, this may not be an issue, as many of them are not geared toward realism and edginess. Wii's do not play any disc or cartridge other than Wii and GameCube discs. It does not play DVDs or CDs, though both the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 can do these tasks. The Wii's Wi-Fi does allow for game and content downloads, though networks like XBox Live are far more advanced for user activity.
Games
Though the Wii console does share games with other systems, there are specific games that are unique to the system that may be seen as pros. Wii Sports, a popular game making use of the Wii Remote, comes with the Wii console. Any newer console games in the "Super Mario" and "Zelda" franchises, both popular names in video games, are brought specifically to the Wii and Nintendo DS.
