How to Convert a U.S. Wii to Japanese

Have you ever wanted to play Japanese Nintendo Wii games? Maybe you heard about Winning Post World 2010, a horse racing game available only in Japan. Or maybe you wanted to play a game based on the Japanese professional baseball league. Neither game ever will make it to America. Now you can with just a few simple instructions.

Instructions

  Press the Wii's power button. Allow the system to load.

  Slide the FreeLoader disc into the disc drive. The program will load. Highlight the option to load a Japanese Wii game. The FreeLoader disc will trick the Wii into thinking that an American game is going into the system by temporarily switching region codes on the system. The FreeLoader disc will eject after you select this option.

  Place the Japanese Wii game into the drive after taking out the FreeLoader disc. The game will load automatically. Nothing else needs to be done to get it to work.
