Guitar Hero and Rock Band stormed the video game world with fun and challenging music-based gameplay. Released on multiple consoles, many people want to use their older guitars on newer systems. Converting a PlayStation 2 guitar to play on the Nintendo Wii is possible, but it is not a perfect solution.

     Turn on the Nintendo Wii.

     Slide in the game disk you want to use the guitar for.

   • 3

     Load the game using the Wiimote.

   • 4

     Plug the adapter for the PS2 controller into the the Wii's Gamecube port.

     Plug the guitar into the adapter. The guitar now should work with your Wii.
