Instructions
Position yourself in front of the Wii sensor bar. It's important that the sensor on your Wii remote has a strong signal with the sensor bar.
Hold the bat low and just behind your chest. You may hold the bat with one or both hands. Holding the bat with one hand causes a faster swing, but you may lose accuracy. The lower you hold the bat, the higher the ball will go, increasing your chances of a home run.
Time the ball just right. Start your swing a little early since the bat is positioned behind you. Keep practicing until you get a rhythm down.
Hit the ball square in the center. Reaching for and hitting the edge of the ball will likely cause it to go foul.
Follow through with your swing. Swing all the way through after making contact with the ball. The greater follow through, the more likely you are to hit a home run.
