How to Win Funky Kong in Mario Kart for Wii

"Mario Kart Wii" is go-kart racing game for the Nintendo Wii video game console that allows gamers to race as popular characters from Nintendo games, race other players online and unlock a variety of secret characters, courses and items. The best way to unlock many characters in the game is to race against the staff ghost data for a course in the Time Trials mode. In this challenge, players must beat a set race time in order to unlock an expert staff ghost.

Instructions

  Start the Mario Kart Wii game and then press the "A" button to enter the main menu. Point your Wii remote to the "Time Trials" option and press the "A" button.

  Use you Wii remote to select the character you want to play as and press the "A" button to continue. Select the go-kart or motor bike that you want to use in the race and press the "A" button to continue.

  Select any one of the course options to see a list of four different courses to choose from. Select a course and then click on the "Race Normal Staff Ghost" option.

  Beat the normal staff ghost in the race, and you'll unlock the option to race against an expert staff ghost for that course. Race the course again against the expert staff ghost and win the race.

  Race against three more normal staff ghosts for different courses. After you've unlocked four expert staff ghosts, you will see a prompt on the screen that says you've unlocked Funky Kong.
