How to Use a Memory Card in a Nintendo Wii

Though the Nintendo Wii has built-in memory in the system, recent hardware updates allow users to use SD memory cards to save data. The Wii also accepts miniSD and microSD cards if they have an SD card adapter. You must have updated your Wii to "Wii Menu 4.0" in order to use an SD card with up to 32 GB of extra storage and have access to the SD Card Menu.

Things You'll Need

  • Wii, updated to Wii Menu 4.0
