How to Become an Expert on Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Purchase Super Smash Bros. Brawl and a Wii console. The game is only available for the Nintendo Wii.

Experiment with various characters in the game's Versus mode. You want to pick one character that you like early on so that you can master all of that character's moves. Link and Fox are two of the most popular and powerful characters.

Play through the game's adventure mode, called "The Subspace Emissary," using the character you chose in Step 2. In this mode, you will have the chance to learn all of the character's moves in different predetermined scenarios. After beating this mode, you should be completely familiar with your character inside and out.

Play through the Solo mode. This mode presents a more traditional fighting game scenario, in which you battle characters in the game's arenas in the same manner that the multiplayer mode is played in. Invite friends over to play against you. Unless your friends are experts too, you should be able to beat new players handily. Due to the high learning curve of the game, experts at Super Smash Bros. Brawl stand out and are typically able to completely dominate gamers that are new to the title.

Compete online on the Wii WiFi network. This is the mode in which your expertise will be truly tested. Due to the fanatic popularity of the game, there are thousands of gamers that devoted all of their time to becoming masters of the game. You may be shocked by how well some of these players know the game. If you keep playing online your game will improve steadily. Once you are able to defeat most online players, you will know that you have become an expert at Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
