Things You'll Need
Instructions
Disconnect the Wii AV cable from the TV. The connectors that plug into the TV are red, white and yellow. In most televisions, the connectors are located at the rear. Follow the AV cable from the Wii to the TV to correctly identify the correct connectors.
Unplug the power adapter from the wall and from the rear of the Wii. Disconnect the sensor bar cable from the rear of the Wii.
Move the Wii console, sensor bar, AV cable and power adapter to your new television.
Locate the AV inputs on your new TV. The inputs are color-coordinated and correspond to the colors of the connectors. Plug the connectors into the TV and plug the other end of the AV cable into the back of the Wii. Verify that you connected the AV cable to TV inputs, rather than outputs. The yellow connector is for video, and the red and white connectors are for audio.
Reconnect the power adapter into the wall and the Wii console.
Place the sensor bar either below or above the new TV, according to how you had it oriented on your old TV. Plug the sensor bar cable into the rear of the Wii.
Turn on the Wii and power on the new TV to verify that the Wii is connected.
