How to Get the Microphone to Work for Guitar Hero World Tour for Wii

Use the microphone to belt out your favorite songs in "Guitar Hero: World Tour" for the Nintendo Wii. If you purchased the full band set, you already have everything you need to start singing. You can also find the "Guitar Hero: World Tour" microphone packaged separately.

Instructions

  Plug the "Guitar Hero: World Tour" microphone into your Nintendo Wii's USB port before you turn on your Nintendo Wii. The port is located on the back of your Nintendo Wii.

  Turn on the Nintendo Wii and start the "Guitar Hero: World Tour" game disk.

  Use your Nintendo Wii Remote to navigate the menus and choose "Quickplay" or "Career." Select your rocker and instrument (vocals will be your only option if no other instruments are connected).

  Sing along with the lyrics on screen and try to keep your pitch within the blue bar for the highest score.

  Use the "1" and "2" buttons on your Wii Remote to adjust vocal volume. Press "A" and "B" simultaneously to activate star power when your blue meter is full.
