The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Many items can be unlocked in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a game originally released for the Nintendo 64 system. To get the Fire Arrow, players must go to the Water Temple and then shoot the sun. The Ice Arrow is unlocked by finishing the Gerudo Training Ground, and talking to Sheik after beating every temple unlocks the Light Arrow.
Players also can unlock several items by killing Skulltula Spiders and retrieving Skulltula Tokens. Getting 10 Skulltula Tokens unlocks the Adult Wallet, while 20 Skulltula Tokens unlocks the Stone of Agony. The Giant's Wallet is unlocked with 30 Skulltula Tokens, while the Bombchus are unlocked with 40 Skulltula Tokens. Players need 50 Skulltula Tokens to unlock the Piece of Heart, and 100 Skulltula Tokens unlocks the Huge Rupee.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Nintendo released The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Wii in January 2007. Players can use their Hookshot weapon to prevent damage from enemies. When an opponent attacks, simply shoot the Hookshot, and while it's extended no damage can be taken. A Link to the Past players also can get a free green potion by tossing an empty bottle into the Waterfall of Wishing fountain. A fairy will show up and provide Link with the bottle that was tossed in, only it will be filled with the green potion.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask was released in May 2009 for the Nintendo Wii. Players can accomplish certain tasks in this game to upgrade their items and attacking abilities. To get a bigger Bomb Bag that holds 30 bombs, players must buy it from the Bomb Shop after preventing Sakon from kidnapping the Bomb Shop Lady. After players have the 30 Bomb Bag, they can play as Goron Link and head to the Goron Village to talk to a Deku Scrub. The Deku Scrub requires 200 Rupees to get the biggest Bomb Bag, which holds 40 bombs. Players can locate every stray fairy in the Woodfall Temple and take them back to the fountain to get a charged Spin Attack.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Players can unlock fairies in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, a game released for both Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo Wii. To unlock the fairies, players must complete rooms in the game's Cave of Ordeals. Players who complete 10 rooms unlock the fairies of Ordon Spring, while finishing 20 rooms unlocks the fairies of Faron Spring. The fairies of Eldin Spring are unlocked by completing 30 rooms, while the fairies of Lanayru Spring are unlocked by completing 40 rooms. Players unlock the Great Fairies in all of the Twilight Princess springs by completing 50 rooms.

The original game in the series, The Legend of Zelda, is available to play on Nintendo Wii. Players can reach the second quest in The Legend of Zelda without playing their way to it by heading to the name entry screen and typing in "Zelda." Legend of Zelda players also can access a door in the game's first level by exiting the level and then immediately re-entering it. The door, which appears to the north, is then unlocked.
