"Boom Blox Bash Party"
"Boom Blox Bash Party" allows kids to build massive towers out of blocks and then knock them down, or just knock down ones that have already been built. Each level has towers built out of blocks. With a quick swipe of the remote, kids can throw things at the towers and knock them down. Throwing wisely is the key. Since there are a limited number of throws, it is important to hit the tower of blocks in the correct place with the correct shape. Not only is this game fun for kids who like to knock things down, but it also teaches them about shapes and how structures are put together.
"Sim Animals Africa"
The popular Sim series allows players to create their own simulated world. "Sim Animals Africa" follows this tradition in a wildlife setting, where kids can interact with lions, elephants and hippos, among other African animals. Once an animal's trust has been gained by feeding, petting or helping it, children can control it and use it to help them fulfill challenges. Challenges include filling a watering hole and gathering food for animals to eat. This teaches kids about nature and how to help and care for animals.
"Cars Race-O-Rama"
Based on the animated Pixar film "Cars," "Cars Race-O-Rama" is a simple racing game kids of all ages can play. Using the Wii remote as a steering wheel, sharp turns can be banked with a simple tilt of the controller. The car characters in the game mirror those in the film, and there are a number of play options, including standard races, relays, challenges and story mode (which follows the plot of the film). Kids have the chance to win new parts and paint jobs for their cars, which can be an incentive for them to race and learn about driving on the road.
