Wii Sports
"Wii Sports" and "Wii Sports Resort" allows kids ages 6 and under to participate in sports simulated games at a highly competitive or beginner level. The controllers, the ̶0;Wiimote̶1; and ̶0;Nunchuck,̶1; act as sporting equipment, such as baseball bats, golf clubs, tennis rackets, steering wheels or boxing gloves. Each player simulates the action required when playing the game outdoors such as swinging the tennis racket, or punching another boxer. It gives kids an opportunity to play video games and exercise at the same time. In addition, the designs are enhanced with the use of 3D technology so the experience is truly unique.
Mater-National
For kids that enjoyed the movie Cars, Wii created Mater-National a racing series game that allows kids to burn rubber with different characters from the movie, including five new international characters from which to choose. Kids can race through Radiator Springs or drive through 20 challenging mini-games. Kids can take part in standard races, team relays, or stunt challenges. In addition "Mater-National" also features 10 multi-player games so that mom or dad can join in on the fun.
Animal Crossing
"Animal Crossing" features a world where numerous activities allow kids to create a story involving the characters on screen. Kids can go fishing, decorate their houses, dig up dinosaur bones or host a party. Exploration is the name of the game as there are no final goals or high scores to reach. Every character appears to have a personality of its own, so that adds to the variety of the game. "Animal Crossing" allows kids to use their imagination in collecting over 2,400 items. In addition, kids can play at different times of the year and experience new activities and attractions dictated by the seasons.
Dora the Explorer
Dora the Explorer fans can take pleasure in "Dora Saves the Snow Princess" game. A simple game, geared toward kids under 6 of age, focuses on preventing the Magic Snowy Forest from melting and in order to do that, they must find the magic crystal that reverses the witch̵7;s spell. In addition, kids join Dora in the adventure to fee the Snow Princess. The game features 12 remote control actions such as building a snowman, steering a dogsled, paddling a canoe, and riding a Pegasus just to name a few. Parents can also join in on the action and help children on their quest.
