How to Get Rid of Wii Parental Controls

Since the heated debate over video game content (and the establishment of the Electronic Safety Ratings Board in 1994), its become common for console manufacturers to include parental controls on their systems. The Xbox, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii all have parental control systems. The parental control feature requires you to enter a PIN each time you want to play a game, or view web content, with a mature or adult rating. This feature can become quite annoying if content ratings are not important to you. The best way around this is to disable your Nintendo Wii's parental control feature; the PIN will never be required again.

Scroll down to the blue arrow. Press "A" to retrieve Settings page two. Select "Parental Controls" from the list; press "A." Using the on-screen keyboard, enter your four digit PIN.
