How to Save the WALL-E Game on a Nintendo Wii

You might be a lonely trash-compacting robot, but in WALL-E for the Wii, you travel across the universe as you save the human race--while also pursuing the robot of your electric dreams. When playing through the game, you may find that you want to stop and save. In WALL-E, there are specific in-game checkpoints where you are permitted to save your game.

Instructions

    • 1

Begin a new WALL-E game on your Wii. The game will display a message stating that it would like to create a new save file.

    • 2

Press "A" when prompted, to confirm the creation of a save file. Wait for the game to load and start.

    • 3

Proceed through the game's levels. Complete objectives and travel around. As you travel, you will come across checkpoints.

    • 4

Activate a checkpoint by continuing forward when you reach one. Checkpoints are marked by a voice providing information on the current level, such as the work you've done on earth or the status of the space station.

    • 5

Wait for the voice to finish talking after you have passed through the point. Your game has been saved up to the checkpoint.

    • 6

Press "1" on your Wii Remote to bring up the pause menu. Select "Quit" and press "A" to confirm. You will return to the main menu and can start from your saved game at any time.
