How to Connect Your Wii to the Hotel Wireless Using Your Laptop

Take your Wii on the go to keep you occupied in your hotel room. The Wii is a fairly small console and packs up nicely. If you stay at a hotel with wireless Internet, you can use your laptop computer to connect your Nintendo Wii to play games online, download new content or watch videos on the Nintendo Channel.

Instructions

      Consult with your hotel̵7;s front desk to get your laptop connected to the wireless network. You may be required to pay for wireless access or it may be complimentary.

      Plug the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector into your laptop̵7;s USB port and install the included software if you haven̵7;t previously done so.

      Power on your Nintendo Wii and select the ̶0;Wii̶1; icon from the home screen, then select ̶0;Wii Settings,̶1; and then scroll to the second page and select ̶0;Internet Settings.̶1;

      Select ̶0;Connection Settings̶1; and select the first blank connection.

      Select ̶0;Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector.̶1; Click ̶0;Next̶1; at the on-screen prompt.

      On your laptop, double-click the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector logo from your Windows system tray (in the lower right corner by the clock).

      Select your Nintendo Wii from the list of devices. Click ̶0;Grant permission to connect.̶1;

      On your Nintendo Wii, click ̶0;Next.̶1; Click ̶0;OK̶1; and then wait as your Wii establishes a connection and performs a connection test.
