Flying Games for the Wii

The Nintendo Wii Remote and Nunchuk provide for a unique motion-based game play experience, one that lends itself well to the genre of flying simulation games. There are currently several flying games for the Nintendo Wii, from World War II shooters to laid-back flight simulation games and everything in between. Wing Island
- "Wing Island" is a laid-back, casual flight simulation experience that was released on March 20, 2007, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii. MiniCopter: Adventure Flight
- While most flight simulator games focus on airplanes, "MiniCopter: Adventure Flight" provides a unique flight experience in your own virtual remote-controlled helicopter. You'll explore seven different environments using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, completing various missions and tasks as you progress through the game. With the ability to customize your RC helicopter in any number of ways, "MiniCopter: Adventure Flight" offers gamers replay value that many flight simulators for the Nintendo Wii simply do not. "MiniCopter: Adventure Flight" was released on April 11, 2008, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii.
Heatseeker
- A flight-combat simulation game with a modern day setting, "Heatseeker" offers gamers a chance to sit in the pilot seat of a number of real-life jetfighters. Released on May 1, 2007, for the Nintendo Wii, "Heatseeker" has been rated "T for Teen" by the Electronic Software Rating Board.
