My Sims Kingdom for Wii Hints

̶0;My Sims Kingdom̶1; is a life simulation game where the player must rebuild a kingdom to make the citizens happier. It is the second game in the My Sims series, a spin-off of The Sims. The player must use mana to rebuild various objects around the kingdom to complete quests. The player regains mana by locating different kinds of ̶0;essence̶1; from a variety of different sources. The game also has collection quests that require the player to locate every different variety of a particular kind of item.

Happy and Sad Essence
- The player can gain two kinds of essence from other characters in ̶0;My Sims Kingdom.̶1; You are given two options when you select most other characters in the game. Choosing ̶0;Be Nice̶1; will give you happy essence. Choosing ̶0;Be Mean̶1; will give you sad essence. Whichever option you choose has no real impact on anything in the game. Happy and sad essence give equal amounts of mana. In addition, the neither option will increase or decrease your relationship with the other character.
Collection Quests
- There are four collection quests in ̶0;My Sims Kingdom.̶1; You must collect every variety of fish, figurine, flower and armor to complete all of them. Complete these quests until you have access to most of the islands in the game. You cannot complete the flower and figurine quests until you beat the game. Fish and armor are the easiest quests. Visit the fishing and prospecting spots on each island. You will eventually complete both quests after using both kinds of locations. Figurines and flowers are more difficult. You must thoroughly explore each island to find every figurine and flower. None of these objects are hidden, you just have to spend enough time to explore the entire island to pass each object to collect. The game has such a tendency to put these objects in the most remote areas of the islands that it can actually be faster to check those areas first and ignore exploring the locations closer to points of interest.
Fast Weed Clearing
- Clearing weeds in ̶0;My Sims Kingdom̶1; is one method of gaining essence. One thing of note with weeding is that you will get bonus essence for clearing a group of weeds within a few seconds of one another. You can build up essence quite quickly using weeds due to their common placement around the island. Keep in mind that you do not have to be very close to weeds to clear them. Try to position your character near a cluster of weeds. Use the controller to clear the weeds around you as quickly as possible. You will gain several times more essence than you would individually plucking weeds. This will result in refilling your mana much more quickly.
