How to Find the Registration Code for My Wii

The Nintendo Wii gaming console brings updated graphics and a wireless Internet connection to classic gaming lines such as "Mario Bros." and "The Legend of Zelda." Owners of the console can register their console online with Club Nintendo in order to receive regular system updates, loss prevention assistance and warranty extensions. Registration also is necessary to make use of the Internet capabilities. Registration requires a serial number from the console itself.

  Look on the back of your Nintendo Wii console. There should be two to four stickers with a series of codes on them.

  Find the code that begins with a two-letter designation followed by a series of numbers. The letters are typically "TW," "LU" or "UG," although later releases might have a different two-letter designation.

  Write down the entire sequence of letters and numbers from the code you identified. The last number will be shaded or boxed in to help prevent fraudulent codes by inhibiting photocopying.
