How Do I Transfer Saved Data on a Wii?

Information from your saved games is stored on the Nintendo Wii̵7;s internal memory. Transfer this information to a friend̵7;s Nintendo Wii using a SD memory card. You can transfer Nintendo Channels, saved game data and downloadable content (such as songs in Guitar Hero or Rock Band games) using a SD card.

Instructions

      Insert the SD card into the slot on the front of your Wii.

      Turn your Wii on and select the ̶0;Wii̶1; button on the bottom left of the screen.

      Select ̶0;Data Management̶1; from the Wii menu.

      Select ̶0;Saved Data̶1; from the data management menu.

      Select ̶0;Wii Saved Data̶1; from the saved data menu.

      Click the file you wish to transfer, then click on the ̶0;Copy̶1; icon. Click ̶0;Yes̶1; at the on-screen prompt, and your file will be copied to the SD card.

      Shut off the Wii and remove your SD card.

      Repeat steps one through five on the other Nintendo Wii (to which you̵7;re transferring the data), then click the ̶0;SD Card̶1; icon.

      Click the file you copied earlier, click ̶0;Copy,̶1; then click ̶0;yes̶1; at the prompt to copy the file from the SD card to the new Wii̵7;s internal memory.
