How Do I Get the Wii Guitar Hero Mic Working?

Guitar Hero World Tour lets players form a band and rock out to some of the most famous songs of all time. The game comes with a guitar, drum kit and microphone, meaning three people can help you achieve rock stardom. The guitar and drum set have inputs for the Wii controller, but setting up the microphone can be confusing. The most important thing to remember is that each peripheral needs its own controller.

     Plug the microphone into one of the USB ports on the back of the Wii.

     Insert the game disc into the Wii and select it using the Wiimote.

     Scroll through the menu and begin a new game. The only peripheral you should be able to select is the microphone. If the microphone does not appear, try using a different USB port.
