      Connect your modem to a wireless router using an ethernet cable. Your service provider may give you a router and can walk you through setting up your network.

      Select the "Options" button on the Wii's main menu.

      Select the "Settings" button. Scroll through until you come across the "Internet" button.

      Select the "Internet" button. Select the "Connection Settings" button.

      Choose an empty port. From the options for Connection 1, Connection 2 and Connection 3, select the one that you want to associate with this connection. Choose the "Wireless Connection" option.

      Opt to "Search for an Access Point." Find your wireless router in the list. You will be asked to input the password.

      Save the settings and run the mandatory test by pressing the "OK" button.
