How Do I Break Bricks on Super Paper Mario?

"Super Paper Mario" is a platform role-playing game (RPG) for the Nintendo Wii console that allows players to switch to 2D or 3D using the motion sensor controls of the Wii remote. In the game you play as Mario from the classic "Super Mario Bros." video game series and must complete a series of levels in order to rescue Princess Peach from the evil Bowser. You can earn special items in the game that allow you to fly or shoot fire by breaking special bricks in each level.

Instructions

  Start the game and go to the "Story Mode" option by pressing the "2" button on your Wii remote. You then must watch the cut-scene or skip it by pressing the "2" button.

  Play in Chapter 1 of the game and you will find an item block right away after you pass two enemies. Break the brick containing the item by walking underneath it and then pressing the "2" button to jump up and smash it.

  Collect the mushroom that pops out of the brick. You can the also smash the other bricks nearby to earn more coins. The item bricks are yellow with a question mark in the center and they contain items that help your character in the game.

  Find a walking bomb in the game, called Boomer, and jump on it by pressing the "2" button. Press the "1" button to pick up Boomer and then press the "1" button again to throw Boomer. Throw the bomb into a brick to break it.

  Continue playing the game and jumping below bricks to obtain items, earn coins or perform other tasks. Jump under bricks that have an exclamation point on them to open doors, move a piper or make a treasure chest appear.
